Pelletising

Pelletising of fine-structured biomass offers a number of advantages. Almost all biomasses can be turned into pellets. The bulk density as compared to loose material is considerably increased. Depending on the source material, it amounts to a value between 600 and 800 kg/m3.

Storage and transport of the goods are facilitated. It is homogeneous, conveyable and dust-free. Pelletised biomass is used for different applications such as a fuel for energetic recovery, as food, as fertiliser or as bedding material. Refined biomass in the form of pellets is a valuable product and can be applied in many ways.
